Seeking God in Community

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)

Reflection:
Jonathan’s slipping through the woods to find David, risking his dad’s wrath to lift his friend’s spirit (1 Samuel 18:1-3). His loyalty says, “You’re not alone.” Hebrews 10:25 says, “Not giving up meeting together.” Ecclesiastes 4:12 adds, “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Faith’s stronger together, like logs fueling a fire. Jonathan’s friendship kept David going; who’s your “Jonathan”? Reach out today—a text, a prayer, a word of encouragement. Christians should rely on one another. It’s not about perfect pals but real ones, spurring you toward God. Their bond outlasted Saul’s rage; your connection could outlast your struggles.
