It is possible to live in the presence of God’s truth, speak His name, and yet remain spiritually asleep … unmoved, untransformed, and unengaged in a deep pursuit of Him … unless we awake to diligent stewardship, active compassion, intimate knowledge of Him, and delight in God above all, as Scripture urges us to seek Him earnestly and love Him wholeheartedly.

A spiritual alarm clock for the ages! This is an authentic message – some 10 years in the making, the Spirit’s imprint on the speaker is palpable – that will stir you and trouble you about whether your faith is, indeed, “alive or merely active.” This sermon is lovingly communicated, but it is also bracing – “…spiritual sleep is not rebellion in the open…[it’s] familiarity that numbs our hunger and our thirst for righteousness…” No Bible lesson that I’ve heard has been more stern or more motivating to become more dedicated to a daily pursuit of greater devotion for God.
Thank you for diligently seeking God and having the courage to engage in your faith. He will bless you even more!
