Serve God with Your Gifts

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” (1 Peter 4:10)

Reflection:
When God filled Bezalel with divine skill, wisdom, and craftsmanship, he didn’t hoard these abilities but poured them into creating the tabernacle’s sacred furnishings … turning his artistic talent into worship that enabled Israel to encounter God’s presence for generations. Romans 12:6 reminds us, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each one of us,” while 1 Corinthians 12:7 declares, “To each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”

Do you view your unique abilities—whether teaching, organizing, creating, or encouraging—as divine stewardship meant for others’ benefit, or do you undervalue them as insufficient for kingdom impact? Serving with your gifts transforms personal talent into corporate blessing, as every skill becomes a conduit for God’s glory when offered through the local church.
