Day 122: Daily Time with God’s Word
Scripture: Job 23:12

“I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.”

How often do you sit with God’s Word? Job’s faith in Job 23:12 was anchored in knowing God’s truth. Romans 10:17 declares, “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Psalm 119:105 adds, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Daily Scripture reading guides us to seek God diligently.

Reflection: Job’s trust in God was sustained by his deep understanding of God’s truth, even in suffering. Chasing after God requires immersing ourselves in His Word, which illuminates our path and strengthens our faith. Scripture is God’s voice speaking to us, guiding us through trials and drawing us closer to Him. Today, pursue God by letting His Word shape your heart and steps.
