Seek God’s Timing in Prayer

“There is a time for everything.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Reflection:
Daniel prays for 21 days, fasting and seeking God, until an angel breaks through with answers (Daniel 9:3). His persistence shifts spiritual realms. Psalm 31:15 entrusts timing to God, and Habakkuk 2:3 assures His promises will come.

Prayer can feel like a waiting game, but Daniel shows that persistence aligns us with God’s timing. He didn’t give up when answers delayed; he kept seeking.

Think about a time you prayed through a delay and saw God move … maybe a breakthrough came unexpectedly or maybe it took years of regular prayer and fasting. Trusting God’s timing encourages us to keep praying, stay obedient, even when it’s hard. Is there a prayer that feels stalled? Like Daniel, stay faithful; it could shift something eternal. It could be a battle in the spiritual realm that we will never know or see. His persistence didn’t just bring revelation; it changed history. Your prayers could too.
