Day 204: Seeking God’s Peace in Conflict

Are you seeking God’s peace and justice in times of conflict? Romans 12:18 advises, “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all,” promoting peace-seeking. Proverbs 3:30 warns, “Do not contend with a man for no reason, when he has done you no harm,” encouraging reliance on God’s resolution.

Reflection: Facing Korah’s rebellion, Moses sought God’s peace by falling on his face in prayer, trusting God to resolve the conflict. Chasing after God means seeking His peace amid opposition. Moses’ response teaches us that earnestly pursuing God involves surrendering conflicts to Him, trusting His justice and timing.

Today’s Challenge: In a current conflict, pray for God’s peace today instead of reacting. Take one step (e.g., kind words) to reflect His peace, strengthening your pursuit.

Prayer: God of Peace, as Moses sought You in conflict, help me to diligently seek Your peace. Guide me to trust Your justice in every dispute, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
