Day 31
Draw Near with Confidence

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)

Reflection:
Moses is barefoot, trembling before a burning bush, God asking, “What’s in your hand?” (Exodus 3:12). A stick becomes a snake, a shepherd a liberator. Psalm 145:18 says, “The Lord is near to all who call on Him.” Hebrews 4:16 invites, “Approach God’s throne of grace with confidence.”

Your mess doesn’t scare God—He’s close, like to Moses’ doubts. Your excuses don’t impress Him. Draw near bold, not perfect. His staff split seas; your confidence could split your fears.

What feels too messy to bring to God?

Today’s Challenge: Pray Hebrews 4:16 and James 4:8 for five minutes, naming your need loud. Moses’ bush moment freed millions; yours could free you to better serve God.

Prayer: God, Moses’ shaky faith shows Your nearness. Pull me bold to Your throne, flooding my mess with grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
