Day 7
Loving God with All Your Strength
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30)
Reflection:
Nehemiah’s hauling stones, sweat dripping, spear in one hand to fend off enemies, rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls (Nehemiah 2:12). Every muscle’s screaming, but he’s working for God, not his own glory. Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” Deuteronomy 6:5 echoes, “Love… with all your strength.”
Your strength isn’t just your own; it’s every effort offered to Him, like Nehemiah turning labor into worship. What’s one task you can give Him today? Maybe helping a neighbor or grinding through a tough job. Nehemiah’s wall stood for generations; your small act could echo that long. It’s not about flash but faith, making every sweat drop a love letter to God.
What’s one way you can pour your strength into loving Him today?
Today’s Challenge: Pick one task—cleaning, helping someone, working hard. Do it for God, praying Mark 12:30 and Colossians 3:23 first. Nehemiah’s sweat built a city; your effort could add to His kingdom.
Prayer: God, Nehemiah’s work shows me strength is worship. Help me pour every effort into loving You, making my daily grind Your glory. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
