God Wants You to Find Him

*“If you seek him, he will be found by you.”* (1 Chronicles 28:9)

Reflection:
The woman bleeding for twelve years—broke, desperate, and ceremonially unclean—elbowed her way through the crowd just to touch the fringe of Jesus’ cloak (Mark 5:27). Deuteronomy 4:29 promises, “You will find him if you seek him with all your heart.” Psalm 119:2 says, “Blessed are those who seek him with all their heart.” What’s your “unclean” battle right now—shame that won’t lift, sickness that lingers, dreams that feel stalled forever?

God makes an iron-clad guarantee: he will be found by those who pursue him with everything they’ve got. Barriers crumble when hungry hearts press through. That desperate woman’s touch didn’t just stop the bleeding … it drew Jesus’ intimate attention: “Daughter, your faith has healed you.” Half-hearted browsing keeps you at a distance; crowd-crushing faith brings you to the feast. This generation mocks that kind of desperation, but Scripture calls it blessed. Your next bold reach—whether it’s a raw prayer, diving into Scripture, or taking an obedience step—positions you for heaven’s “I found you!” moment. He’s not hiding from you; he’s scanning the crowd for seekers like you. Go all in today. No compromise!

What’s holding you back from wholehearted pursuit right now?

Today’s Challenge: Pick one pressing need. Spend five minutes with Jeremiah 29:13: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Pray it with total focus, picturing yourself elbowing through the crowd. Her desperation parted the masses. What will your desperation to find God do?

Prayer: Finding God, that woman’s twelve-year pursuit shames my polite, surface-level prayers. Draw me into wholehearted seeking until I touch You and hear “Son/Daughter, you have found Me completely.” In Jesus’ name, Amen.
