Seek God’s Voice in Prayer

“My sheep listen to My voice.” (John 10:27)

Reflection:
Young Samuel’s asleep in the temple when a voice calls his name in the dark: “Samuel!” (1 Samuel 3:10). He thinks it’s Eli at first, but soon learns it’s God, and his response—“Speak, Your servant’s listening”—starts a lifelong journey of hearing God clearly. Psalm 85:8 says, “I will listen to what God the Lord says,” and Isaiah 30:21 promises, “You will hear a voice… ‘This is the way.’”

Life’s full of noise—phones buzzing, schedules demanding, thoughts racing. But Samuel found God’s voice in the quiet, and it shaped him into a prophet who guided a nation.
