Seek God’s Strength in Weakness

“My power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Reflection:
Samson, once a mighty judge, stands blind and chained in a Philistine mill, yet prays, “Sovereign Lord, strengthen me just once more” (Judges 16:28). His brokenness became the stage for God’s power, toppling a temple. Isaiah 40:29 gives strength to the weary, and Psalm 28:7 calls God our shield. Weakness can feel like defeat, shaming us into hiding. But Samson’s final cry trusted God’s might, not his own.

Think about a time your weakness revealed God’s strength—maybe a low moment showed His provision. Trusting God’s plan reminds us His power shines in our frailty. Is there a weak spot humbling you? Like Samson, lean into God—it could bring victory. His prayer didn’t just end his life; it defeated an enemy. Your weakness could showcase God’s might too.

What weakness awaits perfected power?

Today’s Challenge: Pray 2 Corinthians 12:9 over one frailty: “Perfect Your power in my weakness, Lord.” Serve someone despite feeling inadequate—like Samson’s final act that shook a nation.

Prayer: God of Power, as Samson’s brokenness unleashed Your might, transform my weakness into Your glory. Let my frailty display Your strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
