Day 227: Pursuing God’s Faithfulness in Rejection
Scripture: Genesis 37:4

But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peacefully to him.

Are you pursuing God’s faithfulness when facing rejection? Lamentations 3:22-23 declares, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end,” affirming God’s loyalty. Hebrews 13:5 promises, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” ensuring His constant presence.

Reflection: Joseph pursued God by trusting His faithfulness despite his brothers’ rejection. Diligently seeking God means clinging to His love when others turn against us. Joseph’s resilience teaches us that actively seeking God involves trusting His favor, even when human relationships falter, knowing He remains steadfast.

Today’s Challenge: Identify a relationship where you feel rejected. Pray for God’s love to fill you today and show kindness to that person, reflecting your pursuit of Him.

Prayer: Faithful God, as Joseph trusted You in rejection, help me to diligently seek Your love when others fail me. Let Your favor guide my heart, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
