Seek God’s Righteousness in Faith

“The righteous will live by faith” (Romans 1:17)

Reflection:
Abraham, believing God’s promise of a son despite old age, has his faith counted as righteousness (Genesis 15:6). His trust in God’s word shaped a legacy that blessed nations. Matthew 6:33 urges us to seek righteousness first, and Psalm 23:3 says God guides us in righteous paths. Faith can waver when promises seem delayed as doubt creeps and impatience grows. Yet, Abraham’s steadfast belief shows that righteousness flows from trusting God.

Think about a time your faith led to a right choice. Pursuing righteousness calls us to live by faith. Is there a step of faith you need to take? Like Abraham, trust God; it could bear fruit. His faith didn’t just justify; it birthed a nation. Your faith could glorify God too.

What step of faith seeks God’s righteousness?

Today’s Challenge: Pray Romans 1:17 over one act of faith: “I live by faith, Lord; make me righteous.” Take one trusting step, like Abraham’s belief that fulfilled God’s promise.

Prayer: Faith-Fulfilling God, as Abraham’s trust brought righteousness, strengthen my faith to seek Your righteousness. Let my steps honor You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
