Are You Seeking God’s Glory?

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Reflection:
Esther’s fasting three days, heart pounding, then strides into the king’s court, risking death to save her people (Esther 4:16). It’s not for fame … she wants God’s name to shine. Colossians 3:17 says, “Do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” Psalm 115:1 prays, “Not to us, Lord, but to Your name be the glory.”

Your work, words, failures—do them for His spotlight, like Esther’s gamble started Purim. What’s stealing His credit? Her risk made God famous; your life could too.

Where are you chasing your own glory?

Today’s Challenge: Before a task, pray Psalm 115:1 and 1 Corinthians 10:31: “This is for You, God.” Pass on compliments to Him. Esther’s risk echoed forever; your acts could too.

Prayer: God, Esther’s bold move shows my glory-grabbing heart. Make my life a prayer to Your name, pointing all to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
