Day 22: Defining an Earnest Pursuer

Scripture: You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13).

Reflection:
Earnest pursuit means wholehearted seeking; otherwise, it’s not earnest pursuit, it’s half-hearted. Jeremiah 29:13 defines it: through ceaseless prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18), daily Scripture (Psalm 1:2), joyful obedience (James 1:22), and humility (Psalm 51:17). Earnestness yields God’s presence.

Why settle for half-measures? Distractions steal intimacy.

Earnest pursuit brings His heart.

Today’s Challenge:

1. Make a list of pursuit traits you lack.
2. Cross out half-measures.
3. Pray this out loud: “Lord, make me earnest.”

Prayer:
Lord, make me an earnest pursuer. I repent of distractions. Guide me to Your heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
