Day 251
Live for God’s Glory

“Do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Reflection:
Moses, standing before God’s presence on Mount Sinai, pleads, “Show me Your glory” (Exodus 33:18), seeking to live for the One who led Israel through the wilderness. His life, from parting seas to receiving commandments, was a beacon of God’s greatness. Psalm 115:1 cries, “Not to us, Lord, but to Your name be the glory,” and John 17:4 echoes Jesus’ mission to glorify God. Life can pull us toward self-focus—praise, success, or comfort often take center stage. Yet, Moses shows that living for God’s glory transforms every act into worship.

Think about a time your actions honored God—maybe a kind deed reflected His love. This month’s theme of pursuing holiness urges us to make every moment a tribute to Him. Is there an action you can dedicate to His glory? Like Moses, live to exalt Him; it could shine His light. His faith didn’t just lead; it glorified God to nations. Your life could magnify Him too.

What action can shine for God’s glory?

Today’s Challenge: Choose one task today (work, a conversation, or a small kindness) and pray 1 Corinthians 10:31: “Let this glorify You, Lord.” Do it with intentional excellence, like Moses’ leadership that reflected God’s greatness.

Prayer: God of Glory, as Moses’ life shone Your majesty, make my actions a mirror of Your splendor today. Let every step honor Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
