Live in God’s Holy Presence

“In Your presence there is fullness of joy” (Psalm 16:11)

Reflection:
Moses, meeting God face-to-face in the tent of meeting, finds joy and strength in His holy presence, even amid Israel’s rebellion (Exodus 33:14). His intimacy with God lit his face with glory. 1 Peter 1:16 calls us to be holy, and Psalm 24:3 asks who can stand in God’s holy place. Life’s chaos can pull us from God because busyness distracts and trials dim joy. Yet, Moses shows that living in God’s presence makes us holy and whole.

Think about a time His presence lifted you—maybe worship brought joy. Have you cultivated practices that keep you in His presence? This month’s theme of pursuing holiness urges us to dwell in Him. Is there a moment needing His presence? Like Moses, seek Him; it will transform you. His intimacy didn’t just guide; it shone God’s glory. Your life could radiate Him too.

What moment needs God’s holy presence?

Today’s Challenge: Spend 10 minutes in worship, praying Psalm 16:11: “Fill me with Your joy, Lord; I seek Your presence.” Reflect His holiness in one interaction, like Moses’ glow that inspired awe.

Prayer: Presence-Filling God, as Moses’ intimacy shone Your glory, draw me into Your holy presence. Let my life radiate Your joy today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
