Persevere with God’s Strength

“Be strong in the Lord” (Ephesians 6:10)

Reflection:
Nehemiah, rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls amid mockery and threats, rallies his crew with sword and trowel, trusting God’s strength to finish in 52 days (Nehemiah 4:14). His resolve turned rubble into worship. Isaiah 40:31 renews those who hope, and Psalm 28:7 calls God our shield. Opposition can sap our will—critics discourage, obstacles tower. Yet, Nehemiah’s reliance on God’s power built a legacy.

Think about a time you persevered with His strength—maybe a task succeeded against odds. Is there a challenge draining you? Like Nehemiah, build with His strength—it could raise walls. His work didn’t just rebuild; it restored worship. Your perseverance could glorify God too.

What opposition needs the Lord’s strength?

Today’s Challenge: Pray Ephesians 6:10 over one obstacle: “I’m strong in Your might, Lord.” Take one practical step, like organizing or serving—like Nehemiah’s crew that built through danger.

Prayer: God who renews strength, as Nehemiah’s faith raised walls against foes, empower my perseverance with Your power. Let my work honor You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
