Day 23: Persistent Prayer in Pursuit

Scripture: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances… (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

Reflection:
Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 commands it, modeled by Daniel’s daily devotion (Daniel 6:10) and the widow’s persistence (Luke 18:1-8). Diligent pursuit keeps us tethered to God.

Step one: set a time to pray. Step two: no distractions. Step three: trust He hears. Step four: await results. Repeat.

I’ve let prayer lapse and felt the disconnect; persistence brings power.

Continual prayer sustains the pursuit.

Today’s Challenge:

Make a list of prayer distractions.
Cross out the interruptions.

Prayer:
Father, teach me ceaseless prayer. I repent of inconsistency. Keep my pursuit steadfast. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
