Pray with Boldness

“Approach God’s throne of grace with confidence.” (Hebrews 4:16)

Reflection:
Esther fasted three days before risking execution by entering the king’s inner court uninvited (declaring, “If I perish, I perish”) yet her bold faith saved Jews from genocide and elevated her to deliverer status. Ephesians 3:12 assures, “In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence,” while Psalm 138:3 testifies, “When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.”

Timidly whispering prayers or demanding miracles without relationship? Bold prayer flows from intimate access purchased by Christ’s blood … storming heaven with family authority rather than outsider begging. Esther’s desperate courage didn’t manipulate the Persian king; it positioned her for divine timing where “for such a time as this” unfolded through fasting-prepared faith. When boldness combines with reverence, the atmosphere shifts and breakthrough accelerates. While today’s culture approaches deity distantly, the Gospel invites throne-room grip where children may plead their cases confidently. That “impossible” situation in your life?
