Day 203: Pursuing God Through Faithful Teaching
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4-7

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart… You shall teach them diligently to your children…

Are you teaching God’s truth to the next generation? Psalm 78:4 urges, “We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord,” emphasizing legacy. 2 Timothy 2:2 instructs, “What you have heard from me … entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also,” promoting discipleship.

Reflection: Moses pursued God by teaching Israel to love Him wholeheartedly, passing on His commands. Actively seeking God includes sharing His truth with others. Moses’ commitment to teaching shows that diligently pursuing God involves investing in others’ faith, ensuring God’s ways endure across generations.

Today’s Challenge: Share a biblical truth with someone today (e.g., a relative, friend). Teach or discuss one verse to encourage their faith, deepening your own pursuit.

Prayer: Lord God, as Moses shared Your commands, help me to love You by teaching others Your truth. Use me to build Your kingdom, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
