Day 137: Pursuing God’s Glory Above All
Scripture: Job 26:14

Behold, these are but the outskirts of His ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?

Are you seeking to know more of God’s glory, even beyond your current understanding? Psalm 19:1 declares, “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork,” pointing to creation as a revelation of His majesty. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord,” encouraging awe at His incomprehensible glory.

Reflection: Job marveled at the vastness of God’s power, recognizing that what he knew was only a glimpse of His glory. Seeking God means seeking to know more of His majesty, even when we can’t fully comprehend it. Job’s awe pushed him to pursue God beyond his suffering, reminding us that our pursuit should focus on His greatness, not just our needs. Let the glimpse of His glory fuel your desire to know Him more.
