Day 225: Pursuing God’s Legacy Through Faithfulness
Scripture: Genesis 50:24-25

And Joseph said to his brothers, ‘I am about to die, but God will visit you and bring you up out of this land to the land that he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.’ Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, ‘God will surely visit you…’

Are you pursuing a legacy of faithfulness to God? Hebrews 11:22 notes, “By faith Joseph… gave instructions concerning his bones,” highlighting his trust. Psalm 78:4 urges, “We will tell the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord,” encouraging a legacy of faith.

Reflection: Joseph pursued God by entrusting his legacy to His promises, confident in His faithfulness. Seeking God means seeking to leave a legacy of faith. Joseph’s trust in God’s covenant teaches us that actively seeking God involves living faithfully, inspiring future generations to seek Him.

Today’s Challenge: Write a brief statement of your faith legacy. Take one action today, like mentoring someone, to build that legacy, deepening your pursuit.

Prayer: Eternal God, as Joseph trusted Your promises, help me to earnestly pursue You by living a faithful legacy that glorifies You. Use my life to inspire others to seek You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
