Day 267: Pursuing God’s Righteousness in Leadership

Scripture: Psalm 101:2-3

I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. I will set nothing wicked before my eyes.

David wrote this as a personal vow for how he would lead, not a sermon for someone else. Proverbs 11:3 says integrity guides the upright. Titus 2:7 tells us to be a model of good works, not just talk about them.

Reflection: What you allow in private eventually shows up in public. David’s vow was about his own house before it was about his throne. If you claim to be seeking God, start with what you watch and what you tolerate when no one else is home.

Today’s Challenge: Pray for a blameless heart today. Remove one thing from your private life that you would be ashamed to show God.

Prayer: God of Righteousness, David guarded his heart before he ever guarded his kingdom. Guard mine the same way, for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
