“Give thanks in all circumstances.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Paul and Silas sat chained in Philippi’s dark dungeon after a brutal public flogging, backs torn open and feet locked in stocks, yet at midnight they lifted their voices in hymns of praise to God until the foundations literally shook and every prison door flew open. Psalm 100:4 invites us to “enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise,” while Colossians 3:17 instructs us to do “whatever you do, whether in word or deed, … giving thanks to God the Father.” What overlooked blessing in your life right now—big or small—could shift your entire perspective if you paused to celebrate it?
