“Show me Your ways, Lord” (Psalm 25:4)

Reflection:
Hezekiah, facing an Assyrian army’s taunts, spreads a threatening letter before God in the temple, seeking divine direction amid a siege that seemed hopeless (2 Kings 19:14). With Jerusalem surrounded and odds stacked against him, he didn’t turn to advisors or panic; he sought God’s path, trusting the One who promised to guide. Psalm 32:8 assures, “I’ll teach you the way you should go,” and Proverbs 3:6 says submission straightens our paths. Trials can shroud our next steps—fear screams, options clash, clarity fades. Hezekiah’s humble prayer unlocked a miracle: one angel defeated 185,000 enemies.

Think about a time you prayed through confusion and found a way—maybe a decision clicked after seeking God. Trusting God’s plan urges us to seek His guidance in chaos.
