Seek God’s Will in Waiting

“Wait for the Lord; be strong.” (Psalm 27:14)

Reflection:
Hannah prays through years of barrenness, pouring her heart out to God, and He gives her Samuel, a prophet who changes Israel (1 Samuel 1:10-11). Isaiah 40:31 promises strength for those who wait, and Psalm 40:1 says God hears patient trust.

Waiting can feel endless, but Hannah shows it’s a time to seek God’s will. Her prayers didn’t waver; they grew stronger, aligning with His plan.

Think about a time waiting led to God’s answer—maybe a delay brought clarity. Trusting God’s timing encourages us to stay strong in the wait. Is there a request you’re tempted to rush? Keep praying, like Hannah did. Her wait didn’t just bring a son; it shaped a nation. Your patience could birth God’s purpose in your life.

What waiting season needs will-seeking?

Today’s Challenge: Pray 1 Samuel 1:11 pattern for one delay: “Give [need]—I’ll dedicate to Your service.” Remember to keep any vow you make to the living God.

Prayer: Lord of Hosts, just as Hannah’s prolonged petition positioned a prophetic transition, empower me to Your purpose in this generation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
