Day 194: Seeking God’s Direction in Doubt
Scripture: Numbers 11:14-15

I am not able to carry all this people alone; the burden is too heavy for me. If you will treat me like this, kill me at once, if I find favor in your sight, that I may not see my wretchedness.

Are you bringing your doubts and burdens honestly to God? Psalm 62:8 urges, “Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us,” inviting honest prayer. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning,” offering hope in doubt.

Reflection: In his overwhelm, Moses cried out to God, seeking His direction amid doubt and exhaustion. Chasing after God means being honest about our struggles and seeking His help. Moses’ vulnerability shows that earnestly pursuing God includes bringing our doubts to Him, trusting Him to renew our strength and purpose.

Today’s Challenge: Write down a doubt or burden weighing on you. Pray honestly about it today, asking God for direction, and seek a Scripture to anchor your pursuit.

Prayer: Compassionate Lord, as Moses sought You in doubt, help me to diligently seek You with honesty. Renew my strength and guide my path, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
