Day 188: Seeking God’s Guidance Through Obedience
Scripture: Exodus 14:13-14

And Moses said to the people, ‘Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today… The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.’

Are you obeying God’s guidance in seemingly impossible situations? Psalm 32:8 promises, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you,” assuring divine direction. Hebrews 11:29 commends, “By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land,” linking obedience to miraculous outcomes.

Reflection: Facing the Red Sea, Moses sought God’s guidance and obeyed His command to lead Israel forward. Earnestly pursuing God means trusting His direction in impossible situations. Moses’ faith in God’s promise to fight for His people shows that diligently seeking God invites His protection, giving us boldness to stand firm in faith, no matter the consequences.

Today’s Challenge: Reflect on a challenging situation where you need God’s guidance. Pray for His direction today and take one obedient step, like trusting Him in a conversation or decision.

Prayer: My guiding Lord, as Moses trusted Your path at the Red Sea, help me to love You through obedience. Lead me through my challenges, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
