Day 196: Seeking God’s Power for Bold Action
Scripture: Exodus 7:1-2

And the Lord said to Moses, ‘See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet. You shall speak all that I command you…’

Are you seeking God’s power to act boldly on His behalf? Acts 4:31 describes, “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness,” showing empowerment for action. Ephesians 3:12 grants, “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him,” linking faith to courage.

Reflection: Moses pursued God’s call to confront Pharaoh, relying on His power to act boldly despite initial fears. Diligently pursuing God means seeking His strength with faith, even when the task seems daunting. Moses’ obedience to speak God’s words shows that earnestly pursuing God involves trusting His authority to work through us.

Today’s Challenge: Identify a bold action God is calling you to (e.g., addressing a wrong, sharing your faith). Pray for His power today and take one courageous step to obey.

Prayer: Mighty God, as You empowered Moses before Pharaoh, help me to diligently seek You by seeking Your strength for bold action. Guide me to act in faith, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
