Day 206: Seeking God’s Will Through Surrender
Scripture: Exodus 4:13-14

But he said, ‘Oh, my Lord, please send someone else.’ Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and he said, ‘Is there not Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well… he will speak for you to the people.’

Are you surrendering your reluctance to embrace God’s will? Romans 12:1 urges, “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship,” calling for surrender. Isaiah 6:8 asks, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” with the response, “Here I am! Send me,” modeling willingness.

Reflection: Moses’ initial resistance to God’s call reveals his struggle, but his eventual surrender shows a heart seeking God’s will. Diligently pursuing God means surrendering our reluctance to His plan, trusting He provides what we need. Moses’ journey from doubt to obedience teaches us that earnestly pursuing God involves yielding to His purpose, even when it feels overwhelming.

Today’s Challenge: Identify an area where you’re resisting God’s call (e.g., a new responsibility). Pray for surrender today and take one step to embrace His plan, trusting His provision.

Prayer: Sovereign Lord, as Moses surrendered to Your will, help me to diligently seek You by yielding my plans. Equip me to follow Your call, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
