Day 52: The Heart God Seeks – Repentance

Scripture: And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26).

Reflection: Ezekiel 36:26 promises a new heart through repentance. David sought mercy after sin (Psalm 51:1); the prodigal ran home in brokenness (Luke 15:17-18). Repentance isn’t just sorry—it’s turning to God’s holiness (Matthew 3:8). Confess your standing sin today … maybe a grudge, maybe a secret sin only you and God know … and take a step to change. His mercy softens your heart, fueling your chase.

Today’s Challenge: Confess a specific sin or standing sins and act to change today.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart that pleases You. Guide my repentance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
