Trust God’s Perfect Plan

“The Lord’s purpose prevails.” (Proverbs 19:21)

Reflection:
Joseph forgives his brothers, seeing God’s plan in their betrayal: “You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good” (Genesis 45:5). His trust restores a family and nation. Jeremiah 29:11 promises hope, and Romans 8:28 says all works for good.

Forgiving deep hurts is hard, but Joseph shows it aligns us with God’s plan. He didn’t hold onto pain; he saw God’s purpose, saving lives.

Think about a time forgiveness freed you—maybe letting go brought peace. If you haven’t let go of a deep hurt, find the strength to forgive today. Trusting God’s plan reminds us His purpose prevails. Is there an offense holding you back? Like Joseph, release it; it could restore something precious. His forgiveness didn’t just heal; it preserved a nation. Your trust could bring restoration too.

Today’s Challenge: Forgive declaring Genesis 45:5: “God sent me to preserve—offense released.” Joseph preserved through forgiveness.

Prayer: Father God of forgiveness, just as Joseph’s forgiveness saved his covenant family, help me forgive the offenses of others as You forgive my offenses against You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
