Day 66: 
Scripture: And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us… (1 John 5:14-15).

Reflection: Why pray selfishly when 1 John 5:14-15 says God hears prayers aligned with His will? Jesus yielded in Gethsemane (Luke 22:42); selfish motives miss the mark (James 4:3). We often pray for our own gain with no regard to what God desires or what our neighbors need. Adjust one prayer today to seek His glory, trusting His plan shapes your pursuit. His will’s better than yours; lean into it through His Word.

Today’s Challenge: Ask the Lord to teach you how to pray.

Prayer: Lord, align my prayers with Your will. Guide me to surrender to Your will and to the love of others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
