Day 126: Committing Your Cause to God
Scripture: Job 5:8

“As for me, I would seek God, and to God would I commit my cause.”

When facing uncertainty, do you turn to God first? In Job 5:8, Eliphaz advises, “As for me, I would seek God, and to God would I commit my cause.” This call to appeal to God encourages us to pursue Him by laying our concerns before Him, trusting His wisdom. Hebrews 4:16 invites us, “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace.” Committing our cause to God draws us into deeper reliance on Him.

Reflection: Committing our cause to God, as Eliphaz suggests, is an act of faith that acknowledges His sovereignty over our lives. Diligently pursuing God means entrusting our worries, plans, and trials to Him, confident that He hears and responds with grace. This surrender deepens our trust and aligns our hearts with His purposes. Today, pursue God by laying your concerns at His throne.
