Scripture: Genesis 6:22

Noah did this; he did all that God commanded him.

Are you acting on God’s commands with complete obedience, as Noah did? John 14:15 states, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments,” linking obedience to love for God. Deuteronomy 5:33 advises, “You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live,” promising blessing through obedience.

Reflection: Noah’s diligent pursuit of God was marked by his complete obedience in building the ark, a task that required years of unwavering commitment. Earnestly pursuing God means aligning our actions with His commands, even when they seem daunting or illogical. Noah’s obedience positioned him to fulfill God’s purpose, showing us that seeking God requires a lifestyle of surrender and action.

Today’s Challenge: Choose one area of your life where you’ve resisted God’s call to obedience (e.g., serving others, giving, or forgiving). Take one concrete step today to obey, trusting it will deepen your pursuit of Him.

Prayer: Lord, like Noah, I want to diligently seek You through faithful obedience. Give me the courage to do all You command, aligning my life with Your will. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
