Day 14
Don’t Grow Weary in Seeking
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
Reflection:
Job’s sitting in ashes, body is wrecked, kids are gone, friends blaming him for it all (Job 1:21). Yet he clings to God, saying, “He gives and takes away; blessed be His name.” Hebrews 12:3 says, “Consider Him who endured … so you won’t grow weary.” Isaiah 40:31 adds, “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.”
Feel like giving up? Unanswered prayers or dry seasons hit hard, but Job’s stubborn faith saw God’s restoration. Keep going—one prayer, one verse at a time. Don’t quit. It’s like planting seeds in tears for a harvest of joy. Job’s trust rebuilt his life; your persistence could rebuild your hope.
What’s making you weary in your faith right now?
Today’s Challenge: Pick one discipline—prayer, Scripture, thinking about God. Do it today, praying Galatians 6:9 and Isaiah 40:31. Job’s ashes became abundance; your effort could too.
Prayer: God, Job’s grit calls out my quitting heart. Renew my strength to keep seeking, trusting Your harvest in Your time. Hold me steady. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
