Day 25: Joyful Obedience in Pursuit

Scripture: Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me (John 14:21).

Reflection:
Stop.
Read that again.
Out loud.

John 14:21 ties obedience to love, as David’s joyful worship (2 Samuel 6:14) and the disciples’ immediate surrender (Matthew 4:20) demonstrate. Diligent pursuit proves devotion through joyful actions like forgiving and serving.

Obeying with gladness? That’s love in motion.

Obedience shows true love.

Today’s Challenge:

  1. Make a list of commands you obey grudgingly.
  2. Cross out the reluctance.

Prayer:
God, let my obedience show love. I repent of grudging heart. Guide my pursuit with joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
