Persevere in God’s Presence

“In Your presence there is fullness of joy” (Psalm 16:11)

Reflection:
David, devastated at Ziklag with his family kidnapped and his men ready to stone him, strengthens himself in God’s presence (1 Samuel 30:6). His worship in crisis led to recovery and victory. Hebrews 12:1 calls us to run with endurance, and Psalm 27:4 seeks God’s beauty above all. Challenges can scatter our focus—loss overwhelms, criticism stings. Yet, David shows that God’s presence anchors us, turning despair to strength. God’s plan urges us to stay in His presence. Is there a challenge pulling you away? Like David, seek Him—it could restore joy. His faith didn’t just recover; it strengthened a nation. Your perseverance could shine too.

Today’s Challenge: Worship for 10 minutes, praying Psalm 27:4: “I seek Your beauty, Lord; fill me with joy.” Take one recovery step—like David’s faith that reclaimed all.
