Day 263
Pursue a Righteous Life

“The righteous will live by faith” (Romans 1:17)

Reflection:
Noah, in a world drowning in wickedness, walks blamelessly, building an ark by faith to save his family (Genesis 6:9). His righteous life stood out, pleasing God. Matthew 5:6 blesses those who hunger for righteousness, and Psalm 34:15 says God’s eyes are on the righteous. The world’s ways can tempt compromise because greed pulls and apathy creeps. Yet, Noah’s faith shows that a righteous life honors God and saves others.

Think about a time your faith led to a right choice—maybe obedience stood firm. Pursuing righteousness calls us to live by faith. Is there a choice where you can stand righteous? Like Noah, live faithfully—it could preserve lives. His life didn’t just save; it glorified God. Your righteousness could shine too.

What choice can pursue righteousness?

Today’s Challenge: Pray Matthew 5:6 over one choice: “I hunger for Your righteousness, Lord.” Act with faith in that choice, like Noah’s ark that saved his family.

Prayer: God of Righteousness, as Noah’s faith pleased You, guide my choices to pursue Your righteousness. Let my life honor and save. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
