Day 235: Pursuing God’s Legacy Through Trust
Scripture: Genesis 50:24

And Joseph said to his brothers, ‘I am about to die, but God will visit you and bring you up out of this land to the land that he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.’

Are you pursuing a legacy of trust in God’s promises? Hebrews 11:22 notes, “By faith Joseph… gave instructions concerning his bones,” highlighting his trust. Psalm 78:4 urges, “We will tell the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord,” encouraging a faith legacy.

Reflection: Joseph pursued God by trusting His promises for future generations, leaving a legacy of faith. Seeking God means seeking to inspire others through trust in Him. Joseph’s confidence in God’s covenant teaches us that actively seeking God involves living faithfully, encouraging others to seek Him beyond our lifetime.

Today’s Challenge: Share a promise from God’s Word (e.g., Hebrews 13:5) with someone younger today. Pray for your faith to inspire their pursuit of God.

Prayer: Eternal God, as Joseph trusted Your promises, help me to diligently seek You by building a legacy of faith. Use me to lead others to You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
