Seek God’s Hope in Challenges

“May the God of hope fill you” (Romans 15:13)

Reflection:
Jeremiah, bound in chains as Jerusalem falls, declares God’s plans for a hopeful future despite exile’s despair (Jeremiah 29:11). His words anchored Judah’s identity, leading to their return. Psalm 42:5 calls us to hope in God, and Romans 5:5 says hope never disappoints. Challenges can crush our spirit—setbacks dim, dreams fade. Yet, Jeremiah’s hope in God’s plan sustained a nation.

Think about a time hope lifted you—maybe a verse or psalm carried you through loss. Is there a challenge dimming your light? Like Jeremiah, trust His promises; it could spark joy. His hope didn’t just comfort; it rebuilt a people. Your hope could lift others too.

What challenge quenches hope?

Today’s Challenge: Pray Romans 15:13 over one struggle: “Fill me with hope, Lord; overflow my heart.” Share a hopeful verse on social media—like Jeremiah’s promise that restored a nation.

Prayer: God who provides Hope, as Jeremiah’s words lit hope in exile, flood my challenges with Your joy and peace. Let my hope inspire others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
