Seek God’s Guidance in Uncertainty

“He guides me along the right paths.” (Psalm 23:3)

Reflection:
Abraham leaves Ur, not knowing where he’s going, trusting God’s call to a new land (Genesis 12:1). His obedience sets the stage for a covenant that blesses nations. Proverbs 3:6 says to submit all ways to God, and John 16:13 promises the Spirit’s guidance.

Uncertainty can feel unsettling, but Abraham shows us how to step out in faith. He didn’t have a map, just a promise, and that led to a legacy.

Think about a time you followed a nudge from God—maybe a move or decision that worked out. This month’s theme of trusting God’s plan encourages us to seek His guidance, even when the path isn’t clear. Is there an uncertain step you’re facing? Like Abraham, trust God’s leading; it could lead to something bigger than you imagine. His journey didn’t just change his life; it shaped history. Your obedience could do the same.

What uncertainty needs radical following?

Today’s Challenge: Obey one unclear impression: “I follow Your leading here.” Abraham launched covenant through obedience.

Prayer: Lord who guides my path, just as Abraham’s blind following positioned the blessing of nations, empower me in uncertainty to remain steadfast. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
