Day 136: Seeking God Through Unanswered Questions
Scripture: Job 23:3-5

Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, that I might come even to His seat! I would lay my case before Him and fill my mouth with arguments. I would know the words that He would answer me and understand what He would say to me.

Are you bringing your unanswered questions to God in faith, trusting He hears you? Jeremiah 29:13 promises, “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart,” encouraging persistent pursuit of God. Psalm 62:8 urges, “Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us,” inviting us to lay our concerns before Him.

Reflection: Job’s longing to find God and present his case reveals a heart desperate to understand and connect with the Divine, even in suffering. His pursuit wasn’t passive; he actively sought God’s presence, yearning for dialogue. Diligently pursuing God means bringing our questions and struggles to Him, trusting He hears us even when answers are delayed. Job’s persistence inspires us to seek God boldly, knowing that the pursuit itself draws us closer to His heart.

Today’s Challenge: Write down one question or struggle you’ve hesitated to bring to God. Spend 10 minutes in prayer today, laying it before Him, and commit to seeking His presence daily, even if answers don’t come immediately.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I long to find You in my questions and pain, just as Job did. Help me earnestly pursue You with boldness, trusting You hear my cries. Draw me closer to Your heart, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
