Day 26
Seeking God’s Peace

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you.” (John 14:27)

Reflection:
The Shunammite woman’s son lies dead upstairs, yet she says, “All is well,” and rides to Elisha (2 Kings 4:23). Her calm’s not denial—it’s trust in God’s power. Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast.” Philippians 4:7 adds, “The peace of God … will guard your hearts.”

Her peace held through grief, making room for a miracle. What’s your storm? Claim His peace—it’s like armor against panic. Her faith brought her son back; your trust could bring calm to chaos.

What storm needs God’s peace today?

Today’s Challenge: When worry hits, pray Philippians 4:7 and Isaiah 26:3: “Guard my heart with Your peace.” Name the chaos, like her “all is well.” Her trust raised the dead; yours could raise hope.

Prayer: Jehovah Shalom, her calm faith shows my frantic heart. Wrap me in Your peace, guarding me through storms to Your providence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
