Day 98: The Pattern of Worship – Giving

Scripture: On the first day… put something aside… (1 Corinthians 16:2).

Reflection:
GIVING WAS WEEKLY AND GENEROUS.

1 Corinthians 16:2 — every Sunday, every Christian gave as prospered.

No plates passed mid-week; first day = giving day.

2 Corinthians 9:7: cheerful, not compelled.

Your wallet tight or open?
Name one gift. Give joyfully.

Stingy = stealing from God. Placing your possessions above Him?

Today’s Challenge:

  1. Plan Sunday giving — above and beyond.
  2. Thank Him for every dollar.

Prayer: Father, make me joyful in giving. I give You open hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
