Trust God’s Eternal Plan

“His purpose will stand.” (Isaiah 46:10)

Reflection:
Joseph, sold into slavery, sees God’s plan in his pain, telling his brothers, “You meant evil, but God meant it for good” (Genesis 45:7). His trust saves a nation. Romans 8:28 says all things work for good, and Psalm 33:11 affirms God’s plans endure.

Pain can cloud our view, but Joseph shows that God’s purpose shines through. He didn’t hold onto bitterness; he saw God’s hand.

Think about a time a hardship led to unexpected good—maybe a loss opened a new door. This month’s theme of trusting God’s plan reminds us that He weaves every moment for redemption. Is there a past hurt you’re carrying? Like Joseph, trust God’s eternal design—it could heal and restore. His forgiveness didn’t just save his family; it preserved a nation. Your trust could redeem something broken.

What adversity hides redemptive artistry?

Today’s Challenge: Forgive one past wrong declaring Genesis 45:7: “God sent me to preserve life.”

Prayer: Lord of Redemption, just as Joseph’s adversity preserved Israel, reveal Your will for me in my trials. Show me the door to take. Show me Your will in my life, in my generation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
