Wait on God with Faith

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” (Isaiah 40:31)

Reflection:
Simeon waits a lifetime, trusting God’s promise to see the Messiah (Luke 2:25-26). His faith is rewarded when he holds baby Jesus. Psalm 130:5 says to hope in God’s word, and Lamentations 3:25 promises reward for waiting.

Waiting can feel exhausting, but Simeon’s story shows it renews us. He didn’t waver, even as years passed; his hope kept him strong.

Think about a time waiting built your faith; maybe a long prayer led to joy. Trusting God’s timing reminds us that hope gives us wings. Is there a promise you’re weary of waiting for? Like Simeon, keep trusting—it could lead to a divine moment. His wait didn’t just fulfill a promise; it blessed the world. Your faith could soar with God’s strength.

What promise-wait needs eagle-faith?

Today’s Challenge: Declare Isaiah 40:31 over fatigue: “I wait—I soar renewed.” Simeon blessed by seeing (and holding) the Messiah through waiting.

Prayer: Strength-Renewing Father God, just as Simeon’s lifetime waiting positioned his Messiah generation blessing, anchor my expectation to be blessed in this generation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
