Day 80: When God’s Heart is Grieved – Sin

Scripture: It grieved him to his heart (Genesis 6:6).

How does that make you feel? If you love God, it should hurt. Nobody who loves anybody wants to see them hurt. Why would you give any less to God if you love Him?

What secret sin are you nursing? It’s not hidden from Him.

Confess it loud, now.

Godly sorrow repentance heals the wound. Tears today, joy tomorrow.

Today’s Challenge:

  1. Name one sin grieving God. Kill it.
  2. Replace with obedience.

Prayer: Father, I’m sorry for the grief. Please don’t regret creating me. Cleanse me. I seek a heart that beats with Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
