Day 36: Knowing God as the Supreme Pursuit

Scripture: …let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me… (Jeremiah 9:23-24).

Reflection:
Everything else fades … wisdom, strength, wealth, so why waste your life on vain pursuits? Jeremiah 9:23-24 says the only boast worth having is knowing God. Eternal life depends on it (John 17:3). He desires mercy, not ritual (Hosea 6:6). Isaiah saw Him and was undone (Isaiah 6:1-8). Seek His character today—through prayer, His Word, His ways. This is why He created you.

Today’s Challenge:

  1. Lay down lesser boasts.
  2. Focus on knowing Him.
  3. Declare: “Lord, knowing You is my greatest prize.”

Prayer:
Lord, You are my treasure. I set aside all else. Reveal Yourself as I seek. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
